The default setting should always be the most secure, or at least the one
that changes nothing. Now the people that don't know about the new setting
have their images out there in the public for anybody to grab until they can
change that. Imagine going out on vacation, and coming home to realize the
locksmith made the keys to your locks public designs, and gave you the
option to keep them secret. That's essentially what this default did.
