It has been suggested that people should be able to delete their own

I agree. Choice is good. I would like to delete my account. It shouldn't be made difficult.

I too would like to delete my account, these days a 'delete account' button should be available on any website like this. It is not up to the website developers whether i can or not delete, it is MY choice as to whether i want to delete my account or not.
