When are you going to put in some site services monitoring?

Description

Its quite obvious that Zooomr is still working out some kinks. It also feels like there's no service monitoring built into Zooomr so when something goes down and all anyone ends up seeing is a blank page its quite annoying. I'd much rather see the Intermission page automatically load when something goes down.

I agree - the status page was a good idea, but it's really not worth the
space it takes up if it doesn't actually reflect anything that's going on.
Right now Zooomr's down, but the status page not only says it's 'nominal',
but contains a link to an explanation that we can't read because it's on a
section of the site that's down.

I think instead of showing us an intermission page with a song embedded, why
not embed the tv stream's chat, so at least users can intermingle while the
site's down. There are a few people that stop by the channel when it comes
down anyway.
